Project Notes:
I am raising to treat my skin disease
Fundraiser created 1 day ago
Angelina Nyiel Lual Manyang is the organizer of this fundraiser.
For several years, I have been living with Lichen Simplex Chronicus, a painful and persistent skin condition that causes unbearable itching, burning, and thickened patches on my body. What started as small patches has now spread to my inner thighs and near the vaginal area, making everyday life extremely uncomfortable, painful, and isolating.
This condition affects me every moment:
Nights are the hardest. The itching becomes severe, keeping me awake until dawn.
Daytime is exhausting. I go to class tired, unable to focus, and constantly battling discomfort.
Simple tasks feel impossible. Wearing certain clothes, walking long distances, or sitting still for a while is painful.
I have lived with this for years, unable to seek proper medical care because my family cannot afford it. But now, I want to take back control of my health, find treatment, and finally live like any other young person.
Why I Need Your Help
With your support, I will finally be able to:
See a qualified dermatologist for proper diagnosis and management.
Access prescription medications and ointments to control itching, burning, and flare-ups.
Use professional skincare essentials to reduce recurrence and protect my skin.
Receive therapy support to help me cope with the emotional toll this disease has taken.
How Your Donation Will Be Used ($2,300 Goal)
$600 – Dermatologist consultations, hospital visits, and tests.
$700 – Prescription medications and ointments for long-term use.
$700 – Skincare essentials and protective products recommended by doctors.
$200 – Therapy, counseling, and follow-up support.
$100 – Transportation, emergency costs, and miscellaneous needs.
Why This Matters
Even the smallest contribution brings me closer to relief, better sleep, and the chance to live a normal, confident life again. Your kindness won’t just heal my skin — it will heal my hope, dignity, and future.
Together, we can close this painful chapter of my life and open a new one filled with health, education, and dreams.
